pandamart #HuntTheMouse

pandamart #HuntTheMouse is a gamification solution by Sqkii, in collaboration with title sponsor pandamart. Players were invited to hunt physically around Singapore for the Gold Coin or 100 Silver Coins. Silver Coins were shown on the map as circles that shrank towards the exact location of the Coins. The Gold Coin locations were gradually eliminated on the map, and text hints could be obtained for clues leading to the Coin. Players could perform actions at sponsors in exchange for Crystals, which they could use to purchase advantages in the hunt.

I was a Game Designer for this project. I was involved in the following:

Brainstorming: Brainstorming different game ideas and improvements to previous iterations, and pitching the ideas to the Business Development team

Game Design Document: Writing the full game design document of all flows and mechanics involved for coding by the Development team

Playtesting: Conducting physical playtests with volunteers to test out the effectiveness of various mechanics prior to the campaign

Testing: Extensive testing of the game interface to ensure all mechanics were coded as intended

Data Analysis: Analysing campaign data and performance using Metabase and Microsoft Excel to gain insights on best practices and improvements for future projects
